Organizational Mandate
This is our Mandate which has been the foundation of Founders' Museum (Thunder Bay) Inc, otherwise known as "Founders Museum & Pioneer Village" operation and as we continue to grow we follow this mandate to ensure our goals as an organization are always meet. I share with you our Organizational Mandate:
- To promote public interest in the Agricultural, Pioneering and Socio-Economic history of the district of Thunder Bay.
- To conduct and promote historical and related research, as a basis for public programs which will reflect the multicultural richness of the area.
- To develop and maintain a "Pioneer Village" designed to interpret early settlement history of the area though various methods including living history interpretation, interactive methods, entertainment and educational programs geared to the curriculum of elementary and secondary studies.
- To develop effective marketing programs to attract tourists to the attraction.
- To Co-Operate with any other corporation or person having similar objectives.
- To accept donations, gifts, legacies and bequests and such other complementary purposes not inconsistent with these objectives.
